All the recipes in this book have been checked and endorsed by the Australian Diabetes Council. If you have diabetes you should eat a healthy balanced diet that is low in fat, high in fibre and includes low-GI foods at each meal. But that shouldn’t mean that its low in flavour or interest, and it certainly shouldn’t mean you feel deprived. Cooking for diabetes brings you food that is so good the whole family will happily eat it (and improve their health in the process). There are breakfasts, lunches, light meals, mains and smattering of desserts.
